Update on the B-Ho

Hello everyone --I am kinda new to the blog world but after much encouragement (and a few threats ...uh hem Andrea) I decided to drink the "red koolaid" and jump into the blogosphere. I guess I should start with the latest happenings in my life. A couple of months ago my good friend Kelly called me and asked me if I would be interested in being her new assistant in her photography biz...While I thought the offer was sweet and how awesome of her to think of me I without hesitation declined stating "Thanks but I am very happy where I am and LOVE my Church, friends, community, and job--I could never leave Dallas, in less of course JESUS ASKED ME TO." Welp...guess what HE asked me to ? Through numerous confirmations, conversations (i.e. Ashley:)-,and circumstances and through his WORD, Godly counsel, and LOTS OF PRAYER!! I felt the Lord leading me back HOME--to RUSTON!! I know on paper its a job--but I FIRMLY believe that this is NOT the only reason " Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails."Prv. 19:21 So though I don't know fully why the Lord has brought me back I am excited to see all the Lord has in store!! To my friends in Dallas --please be patient with me until I get all my phone issues worked out --dang T-mobile!! I literally have to be standing right on I-20 to get a signal which could be hazardous to my health!! And to my Ruston friends don't be alarmed if you see me walking up and down I-20 --I am really not trying to hitch hike back to Texas or throw my self into oncoming traffic (although I am sure I will have those days) --just wave and nod and just think to your self --Yep the crazy redhead is back in town!!

It's nice to know that I'm not alone in the "I don't know yet why the Lord has brought me back to Ruston" camp. I mean, I've been here over a year now and am not feeling led elsewhere any time soon, but still. Um, when can I see you???

Interesting...but I really believe everyone should visit Ruston before they meet you. At that very moment they would say out loud.."the math makes sense".
Love you,
A

Congrats on the new blog.

At least now in Ruston you don't have to choose between Shoney's and Huddle House to get some coffee.
